Can you believe the explosive growth of the World Series of Poker? Amazing! I
suspect it is fueled in part by the recent airings of the World Poker Challenge
Events. Quite interesting. 839 players plopped down $10,000 to enter the 5 day
"Big Dance". (Many earned their way in via satellites and Internet tournaments.)
$2.5 MILLION to the winner. Niiiice.
I don't know about you "guys" (and "gals"), but I had a GREAT time at the first TOC. Mike Sexton put on a first-class show, and I didn't hear one negative comment during the whole three days. Of course, I was just a spectator after 11 hours and 54 minutes of the first day, but that didn't take away from the fact that I had a blast! I took a bunch of digital pictures while there, and have posted many of them here for your enjoyment. Too bad it has "bit the dust". I thought it was GREAT! If you have any digital images you wish to see on this site, please send them to me at the address at the bottom of this page. I'd really enjoy seeing them, and many more people certainly feel the same way.

that I hardly know how to spell
"HTML", let alone use it well. This is my first website, and I
last accessed it about 3 years ago. Just putting on a few new links (and fixing
some broken ones)..
We will have links to other great poker sites, poker events, poker books and other gambling literature (I'm a genuine Amazon.com bookseller now!), and much more.
